I am looking for business partners that can lead operations while I handle the financial, administrative, and strategic side.
The Partnership
Every good business needs both sides. Someone has to know the work, understand the customer, lead the people, and keep the operation moving. But someone also needs to be looking underneath it all — at the money, the structure, the risks, and the decisions that shape how the business operates today and what it can become tomorrow.
I'm a Certified Public Accountant, but my role goes well beyond accounting. I work across the pieces of a business that are often handled separately: financial reporting, cash flow, tax and entity structure, contracts and liability, insurance, real estate, capital allocation, and the systems that connect everything.
What I Bring
Financial control — Clear books, reporting, and numbers we can actually use to make decisions.
Administrative structure — Entities, compliance, payroll, filings, and the paperwork that keeps the business organized.
Tax structure — Making thoughtful decisions about how the business is structured and understanding the long-term tax consequences.
Cash flow & capital — Knowing what the business can afford, where the money is going, and how to deploy capital wisely.
Risk & exposure — Understanding contracts, credit, liability, insurance, and what happens when things don't go according to plan.
Systems — Building processes for how money, information, and work move through the business so the right people can run them.
Strategy — Thinking beyond this month or this year to growth, ownership, investment, and eventually transition or transfer.
Who I'm Looking For
Someone who knows a particular trade, industry, or market well enough to build one — and wants a partner whose strengths are different from their own. You understand the operation. You know the customers, the people, the work, and what it takes to deliver. You want to own that side of the business and be good at it.
I bring the other half: the financial structure, administration, systems, risk, capital, and strategy that support the operation and give it room to grow. Neither side works particularly well without the other. I'm looking for a small number of partnerships where we each bring something different to the table, trust each other to own our respective areas, and build something stronger together.
I'm not looking for clients or engagements. No bookkeeping, tax preparation, hourly consulting, or fractional CFO work. I'm looking for partners.
How It Works
I come in as a partner, not as a consultant.
We agree on ownership, responsibilities, and expectations upfront so both people know exactly what they're responsible for and have the authority to do their part well. Then we stay in our lanes. You run the operation. I take responsibility for the financial, administrative, and strategic side. The major decisions belong to both of us.
I'm intentionally keeping the number of businesses I partner in small. These aren't projects or short-term engagements. Ideally, they're relationships we build over many years. Because of that, I'm much more interested in finding the right person than simply finding the next opportunity.
Let's Talk
You don't need a pitch deck or a fully formed business plan.
If you have a business, an opportunity, or simply an idea you think could work with this kind of partnership, send me a message.
